Applications for the Belgian Teacher Programme 2027 are open!
Do you teach physics in Belgium? What if your next training opportunity brings you to CERN?

For about 20 years, CERN has organized National Teacher Programmes that bring together secondary-school physics teachers from all its Member States, Associated Member States, and selected Non-Member States.
From 25 to 30 April 2027, CERN will welcome secondary-school physics teachers from across Belgium for a new edition of the Belgian Teacher Programme.
During a week, participants will have the opportunity to discover CERN from the inside and immerse themselves in the world of particle physics through a varied programme combining lectures, visits to CERN facilities, exhibitions and hands-on workshops.
Beyond the scientific experience, the programme is also an opportunity to meet and exchange with fellow physics teachers and experts in research and engineering, share experiences and ideas, and return home with new knowledge and inspiration to pass on a passion for science to their students.
Following the success of the 2026 edition, the 2027 programme will pursue the same ambition: to offer teachers an immersive experience at CERN and empower them to return to Belgium as true ambassadors for science, inspiring the next generation.
