Three Belgian actors from the 'Public' Theater in Brussels visited CERN, while they were in Geneva in 2017 to perform the play "Maris et Femmes" in French ("Husbands and Wives") from Woody Allen at the Orangerie Theater. Inès Dubuisson, Charlie Dupont and Nicolas Buysse discovered a scientific world, which was so far unknown to them.
Their programme included a visit to the Synchrocyclotron, the ATLAS control room, the Globe and to finish, a last experience at CERN: lunch at Restaurant 1!
At the end of their visit, they expressed their surprise to see so many people from very varied backgrounds working together towards a joint goal. "Science and art share the fact that they both search things that are beyond us", Charlie Dupont said.
