The Minister President of Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Pierre-Yves Jeholet, has visited CERN on Monday 13 June 2022 accompanied by Valérie Glatigny, Minister, amongst other domains, for Higher education and Scientific Research.
The delegation was completed by Benoît Rutten, General Delegate for Wallonia and Brussels in Geneva, and Véronique Halloin, Belgian Delegate at CERN Council, as well as various members of the ministerial cabinets and advisors.
The visit included an exchange with CERN management, including Charlotte Warakaulle, Director for International Relations, and the visit of the Synchrocyclotron and service cavern of the CMS experiment to which participate three French-speaking Belgian universities.
