The first official Belgian Teacher Programme in 13 years took place from 12 to 17 April 2026.

While Belgian teachers previously had opportunities to participate in the International Teacher Programme, as well as French and Dutch Teacher Programmes and private initiatives such as the SSVI Teacher Programme, this marked the first official Belgian Teacher Programme organised since 2013.

A total of 22 participants from the Flemish, French, and German-speaking communities took part in the five-day programme, which featured talks, conferences, guided tours, and workshops. It also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange best practices in physics teaching across the country’s linguistic communities.

Feedback was very positive, and another edition is planned for the end of April 2027.
